Hidden Gem (Bars)

I've been fortunate enough to have good friends who like to hang out and try different spots around New York City. I've put together a short list of my favorite places from this summer.

*Whiskey Traders
The drinks are strong and very tasty for 3$. My friends and I always go for the cosmos, appletini's or watermelontini's. Sometimes I even venture and get raspberry mojitos. Usually during the week its pretty dead but Saturday's are very entertaining because the crowd is mixed & there's a DJ.

*Continential
There special is 10$ for any five shots. And you can use any type of liquors. Im not sure about any drink specials they might have but with 2$ shots does it really matter?

*Cooper 35
This is an Asian pub with the dinner menu never costing more than 12$, and the teriyaki salmon is to die for. But I dont just go there for food, the drinks are 4$ and they have quite a variety of STRONG blends including blue hawaiians and long island iced teas.

*Maracas
If your in the mood for mexican food & cheap booze, then maracas is the place you want to be. Everyday there's a different drink special but Mondays, IMO, are the best. Its 3.50$ margaritas in glasses big enough to share, and in more flavors than one. Thursday are also a hit with 4$ frozen cosmos (My fav) and they are so good!
