Simply Black & White

I've always been observant but lately I've been stuck in the world of my own mind. I honestly don't see one thing wrong with a biracial couple. You love who you love PERIOD! Society sets some weird as$ standards, and what are rules if nothing more than guidelines made to be broken. I've dated more than black men, because color isn't what 'attracts' me. Every man brings something different to the table. How can you experience life stuck on a box? Don't get me wrong I love my black men but I'm not scared to venture out and try new flavors!

I remember dating the whitest white dude ever but yet he treated me well. It wasn't about being his token black girl, to take home to mom and dad to pist off but I was just someone who he was interested in and vice versa. 'Zack' took me to Boston and showed me things I may not have found on my own. The point is you have to get out of your comfort zone. It actually makes me mad when I hear people being disrespectful to a biracial couple. What business is it of yours what they do behind closed doors. While being with 'Zack' I experienced first hand some of the ignorant things that black men will say. And being the person that I am I would (9 times out of 10) reply with a smile and a 'Fukc you'.

It's now 2009 and yes people are alot more tolerant however Kanye said it best 'racism is still ALIVE they just be concealing it'.
