Backsliding...

Now I've never been one to regularly attend church or try to be anything more than what I am. Yes I was raised in the church on the weekends with my dad, and raised in the streets during the week with mom however I've always treated people with the same respect I wanted them to treat me with. By no means am I perfect nor do I try to be, like I said I try to be the best person I can be. Lately I've been noticing how people give all praises to the lord above... and thats cool, If thats what your into. Different strokes for different folks however how can you talk about someone, or even put them down in the same breath? Think about it... Most of us are trying to live our lives the way that the bible tells us to but how can you do that when you are living foul. You can but (shouldn't) ask for forgiveness when you continue to do the same foul things. Of course Im in NO position to judge anyone on what they do or say, that's between them and their God. Wasnt there a saying "WWJD"? I think that is the best pre-thought for everyone. No matter what you're about to do, just think What would Jesus do? Before you talk bad about someone, Would Jesus do that? Before you steal money from 'her' purse thats open, Would Jesus do that? Life would be a much BETTER place if we started to treat folks how we wanted to be treated and took into consideration someone else's feelings before our own.
